Airsal cylinders are made in aluminium and Scanimet coating ( nickel + silicon carbide ). This coating improves resistance to wear and tear also the mechanical properties of the cylinder
Hardness ( +600 wickers ), flexibility, lower heating besides low friction coefficient are the main differences against the cast iron cylinders
